Description The International Center for Professional Development (ICPD), is seeking candidates to join our dynamic team in the role of Gallus Membership Associate. This is position offers a flexible schedule working remotely. Fluency in English, and the ability to travel on short notice is required.
The Membership Associate will recruit members to join the Gallus community and secure sponsors. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospective members and sponsors. You will also ensure proper support for members and sponsors and participate actively in the Gallus community. Qualifications
Good communication and fluency in English (spoken and written)
Ability to create compelling narratives for products and markets
Exceptional social skills and leadership abilities, able to collaborate with diverse groups, and persuade, influence, and encourage your peers
Public speaking and ability to deliver engaging presentations
Ability to work independently with strong discipline
Proven experience in sales, or business development or similar role
Demonstrated ability to deliver sales results
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Strong social media savvy on various platforms
Stable unlimited internet connection
Ability to prioritize tasks and stay on schedule
Experience in executive development for the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Diagnostics or Consumer Healthcare industries will be an advantage
Track record of selling to senior level and C-Suite executives
Familiarity with major functions of the organizational value chain ie. operations, product development, supply chain, organizational design, emerging technologies etc
Responsibilities
Presenting and selling membership for the Gallus community
Contacting potential Gallus members and sponsors
Securing sponsorship for the Gallus community
Developing marketing campaigns and materials
Actively support the Gallus community and contribute content
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, researching market and related events, publications, and announcements
Adhere to all ICPD policies, procedures and business ethics
Research target demographics, economic trends, member needs and interests and other data that can be used in creating strategies for business development
Build trusting relationships with Gallus community members and sponsors through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates relevant to the Gallus community
Report to the Executive Director on weekly and monthly sales results
